Book Sales

My first print run of 100 copies sold out, but I have had a second printing of an additional 250 copies done this year. So more are available, now at a cost of $20 CAD. My second book, Twelve Steps for Everyday Living, is now available for purchase for $15 CAD. It is my attempt, based on my experience and those who've been a part of my recovery journey, to transform the 12 Steps into a tool for anyone to use to navigate the challenges and trials of life.

Review it? Do you have a copy and enjoy what you have read? Can you help me promote it by leaving a good review at Goodreads (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/21939460-lean-on-me)? Thanks for your support.

In other news, after a long debate and some peer pressure, I have started a second blog, along the same vein as Lean on Me, but in my second language. You can check it out here - Tomber dans l'appui.

”Every job is a self-portrait of the person who did it, so autograph your work with quality.”
Robert Elliot
My recovery is my newest work. It is a work in progress, a work of art, a masterpiece in the making. It is likely one of the most important jobs I will ever undertake because it is the basis for the foundation that everything else in my life will be built upon. Therefore it is something that deserves to be done well.
My recovery did not start off with this attitude in mind. At first it was the latest attempt to appease those around me, a sign of good faith to get the freedom to go back to my old ways. However, hearing the stories of others, something stuck out and I found the possibility of a different and better way of living. It still took many meetings and months before I fully trusted the program and began to put 110% effort into it.
Recovery is no longer a thing I do, but has become an integral piece of my life. It is part of my new self-portrait. The principles and tools have helped to transform me into the healthier person that I am today. SAA has autographed its teachings into my DNA and for that I am truly grateful.
Affirmation
My recovery is a job to be taken seriously. It will only produce results equal to the effort I put into it.
